Lihiniya Tours

A local team on the west coast

Lihiniya is the Sinhala word for the swallow, a bird that travels far and always finds its way home.

Why we started

We grew up between the river and the sea in Bentota, watching visitors arrive with a long list of places and very little time. Too often they saw the island through a bus window.

Lihiniya Tours plans journeys the other way around: one car, one guide, and a route built around what you want to feel, whether that is a leopard at dawn in Yala or a quiet cup of tea above the clouds.
